With the demise of XS4ALL, my home server will no longer have a reliable IP address and mail capability, so something has to change...
A first step was to stop hosting sillywalks.org DNS on my own server, but start using my registrar's DNS... easy work and no longer editing of BIND zone files ;)
At Tilaa I found a good VPS solution for hosting my mail and website. To ease the work, I also chose to run Ubuntu instead of FreeBSD. Quite a different beast Ubuntu compared to FreeBSD. I think I will write more on these differences later on.
One mayor advantage Tilaa provides is readily available IPv6 on the server. You may be reading this using an IPv6 connection :)
